Get to know me

Hi! My name is Aleksandra, but people call me Aleks or Ola (short for Aleksandra in Polish).

I live in South Oxfordshire with my partner Tom and our daughter who happens to be very camera shy and definitely won’t sit still for photos! So if your little one is the same, don’t worry — I know how to work with that and capture the fun, natural moments without forcing them to pose.

Other than being behind the camera, my favourite things to do are exploring new places, going to gigs to listen to live music and going on a beach walk during our annual holiday in Cornwall.

My Spotify playlist is a little bit of everything — chilled folk, disco, and even the occasional bit of thrash metal! I’m also a big foodie and will never say no to discovering a new place to eat.

I would describe my photography style as a creative candid documentary. If you book me for a photoshoot you'll receive authentic naturally lit photographs taken in a natural environment. I love beauty in all it’s forms and celebrate imperfections. So you won’t see any retouched stretch marks or other so called ‘flaws’.
